Samsara Tree Care Company: Expert Tree Services for Healthy, Beautiful Landscapes

Samsara really went above and beyond to help us following the recent severe storm. Two large pines fell across our driveway entrance, completely blocking access and egress. This happened on a Saturday afternoon, and Samsara was out there beginning removal Saturday evening with floodlights. They brought back a large crew and heavy equipment Monday morning to complete cutting up, chipping and removing the large trunks and limbs, in the midst of really bad weather. We found them to be uniformly hard working, courteous and communicative - easy to deal with and generally good guys. We are having them come back to remove a very large cedar tree in the near future, and highly recommend them.

With the absolute mayhem that the January 2024 storm brought, Jacob and all the staff at Samsara did an amazing job at getting my tree (on the house) removed. They juggled countless jobs and encountered multiple hurdles but made me feel taken care of and prioritized. I appreciated their tenacity, creativity, honesty, and communication.

Truly amazing experts, at a time of crisis. I’m not even sure where to start, the Samsara team it truly amazing in every way (in the middle of an area crisis when dealing with hundreds of people with incredible issues). They came quickly, assessed, clarity on estimates to allow working with insurance, and then worked day/night to get cranes and other critical equipment for a truly difficult job with wave after wave of storms. They moved heaven and earth to save my house and the level of expertise was unparalleled. Watching their teams do the impossible was incredible, they worked so hard, so carefully, so thoughtfully in post clearn up. I cannot recommend them

I've hired them on multiple occasions they do great work and, just as important they're very communicative and reasonable. First time I hired them, first to respond, on the lower end of pricing bids, they're aim was to get it done ASAP. Others didn't respond, admittedly didn't read the three detailed email I sent, with pictures and arrows, wanted to schedule me too far out in the future. They're crew arrived on time, very well staffed, they seemed happy in their work, safety was a high priority, cleaned the site. Honestly a lot of co-workers could learn from their business ethic. Highly recommend 11/10 🌟 because they went the extra mile anywhere they could.

After seeing the fantastic work Samsara did on a neighbor’s tree I knew without a doubt they were who to call when I decided to have the 3 80-year old Doug Firs on my property taken care of. They thinned the load of the branches and removed a considerable amount of deadwood from the trees, which had not received care in decades. The Samsara team was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, informative, easy to communicate with, had great response times, and were affordable as compared to other estimates from far less experienced and professional “arborists.” I care about these trees greatly and will not hesitate to use Samsara for future needs for them and the others on our property.

These guys are great. They were not the cheapest, but we have no regrets hiring Samsara and recommend them highly. They did a great job. Very friendly, transparent and professional. Jacob was responsive to our request for estimates and also very helpful in juggling his schedule to find time to get our job done sooner than later. We had four 50’ Sweetgum trees that were especially unruly in addition to several trees from the neighbors properties that were overhanging our shared fence line. Many smaller limbs from all the trees had already begun to fall when the wind became serious. Samsara informed us for their strategy to deal with the situation and went about the job systematically and efficiently. They rigged up lines to climb the trees and handled the whole lot like swashbuckling sailers from a tall masted ship, going from top to bottom with hand and chain saws surgically and significantly thinning the trees for improved safety and appearance. They were very professional with clear procedures to ensure safety for themselves, our neighbors and us as homeowners. They did a thorough job of clean up and we were very happy with the end result.

Samsara Tree Care has been trimming our Japanese maples for four years. What a great team they have and so VERY knowledgeable. They are efficient and yet keep my trees so healthy. When they leave all that is left are gorgeous trees. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to have their trees properly trimmed. Actually I would give them 10 stars!

Rating is for the estimate services. I wasn’t able to get a bid in over two weeks, after a site visit that was scheduled within a week, because one person was at arborist training. If you’re in a time crunch - go elsewhere. Their receptionist was nice, but recommended a dogwood for my tree replacement without any knowledge of the site or training as an arborist.

I had a couple fairly technical limbs over my roof. Samsara was on time, and responsive to my calls. They seemed very knowledgeable and they didn’t damage my property. I had to clean my gutters and pick up a few limbs and because of the chipping and limbing process. There some chips also left over on my gravel/yard.

Samsara always does a great job. Highly recommend. We used them at our old house and still use them at our new place. They are knowledgeable and always share that knowledge with us. We appreciate them!

Everything was good. They trimmed many large fir trees, they ground three stumps and pruned my apple tree. They cleaned up all the trimmings and there was nothing I had to do. Thanks.

Samsara's team did an excellent job trimming our very old street trees and examining our heritage tree. They understood what it takes to preserve our tree canopy for now and for years to come and graciously shared their knowledge with us. 3 young bucks showed up right on time and did a fantastic job removing a large tree from a tough spot on a steep hill in our backyard. They were professional and courteous with every step. They did a great job protecting our property and surrounding vegetation. They finished their work which included a thorough cleanup and made sure we didn’t need anything else from them. It was tough deciding to remove that big beautiful tree, but the crew from Samsara did everything they could to make the process smooth and easy!

We had a fantastic experience using Samsara Tree Care for an 80 year old Magnolia Grandiflora and two Japanese Maples. Samsara’s responsive communication was on point. They spent time educating us about the tree trimming process while still being sensitive to our ultimate tree goals. This was our second year in a row using Samsara, and we enthusiastically recommend them to others. Jacob, the owner of Samsara, was hands-on throughout the tree trimming process. Our trees look great!

I got quotes from several companies. Samsara's was the most detailed, providing explanations for what needed to be done and why, and how they planned to do it. Their price was also reasonable. They were easy to contact, showed up on time, checked in with me before leaving, answered all my questions, and left everything clean and tidy.

Awesome service! After scheduling somebody to come and look at a tree I wanted removed they came and gave me a couple options, explaining everything well and a very reasonable quote. When the crew came they were done very quickly and left no mess. I recommended them to a neighbor who has some large sick trees and he gave them an honest assessment and longevity timeline without being pushy at all.

They performed a herculean feat of blackberry removal in our backyard, trimmed a rag-tag collection of trees throughout our property and gave us excellent advice about how to keep our trees happy and healthy in the future. Samsara trimmed some street trees a few years ago for me. Cost was fair and it has helped the trees not grow limbs into parking spaces or too low across the sidewalks.

They did an excellent job!!! I had bids from five different companies and went with Samsara, They took down a tree on my property and did more than expected. Everything was cleaned up very nicely. They are very professional and I will for sure be using them again. I have recommended them to my friends and I recommend them to you as well.

The crew was awesome!! Six people showed up and worked like beavers. Each one helped each other, moving quickly getting the work done. My neighbor and I both had work done by the team and we were both extremely happy with the work. If someone wants a top team to remove trees, shrubs or other vegetation, this should be the first choice.

I have a lot of native plants packed onto a standard size lot. Samsara Tree Care pruned back some branches, removed damaged branches and removed a dead Blue Blossom. They did an excellent job. Everything still looks lush and we still have privacy but branches are no longer in the way.

I have a big property with a lot of amazing mature Oregon white oak trees and I am so glad I found Samsara to help me take the best care of them! First of all, it is fun to watch them climb like monkeys way up into the trees! They are super impressive, really knowledgeable, clearly prioritize safety for everyone. They really love what they do and it shows. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this firm without reservation based on our recent experience with emergency tree removal. When we received word from tenants on a Sunday afternoon that a large fir tree in the backyard was on its way down and had lodged precariously in the limbs of another tree in its path of falling on a neighbor's house, Samsara was the sole business among a half dozen calls we made to tree care professionals listed as 24/7 that responded to our call in person that day and committed to coming the next day to quote and remove the tree. We'd never heard of Samsara Tree Care until their name showed up in our internet search, but found they communicated well; arrived on time; explained what needed to be done to bring the approx. 75' tall tree down safely; offered a reasonable quote for the project; and completed the work on time and without incident; and their site cleanup was superb. What more could anyone ask . . . it was a huge relief to us that none of the parties involved (three residential lots/neighbors/tenants) incurred any personal or property damage as a result of Samsara's swift, expert response. P. S. As it turned out, on Monday morning we received a callback from another company responding to our voicemail left on Sunday. They were interested in quoting the project as well, although we'd informed them we had engaged another contractor; their quote proved 40% higher than Samsara's.

Jacob and his team have been taking care of our trees for the past 4 years now and we love the work they do! We have 8 fruits in our urban backyard, they give great guidance and advice about how to care for the overall health of the trees while also preserving the shape and canopy function of the trees within our landscape. Samsara Tree Care is magic. ✨ I have nothing to say other than "fabulous job" and a million other things... I was in a tricky situation. Timing was bad - Sunday tree fall before MLK day. Across driveway and on a neighboring apartment complex. I contacted them via their contact form and heard within 30 mins from Jacob (again weekend...holiday...4:30 pm, maybe later). They were able to come out with a crane (A CRANE) the very next afternoon. They worked tirelessly and got a very large tree out of a precarious space within hours. They communicated with neighbor and had a helpful / detailed invoice prepared for insurance shortly after. They even offered to come out and deal with stump at a later date. I will refer them to anyone - strangers, family members, neighbors - and already have! Best service I have received in a long time! Honestly, INCREDIBLE. They worked a miracle for me and made a challenging situation manageable. They did an amazing job cleaning up too, and communicated well with me, a stressed out homeowner, and did it with so much care and kindness, humor too! I had a 80 ft tree that broke after a storm and was partially leaning on a different tree and was at risk of falling on neighbor's house and the powerlines. Samsara tree team returned my call very quickly and were able to dispatch someone to assess the situation within a day and schedule a work day before the holiday breaks ( and the next storm!) They were very professional and explained their plan in details. Their price range was also very reasonable compared to the other ~ 8 quotes that I got. On the day of, they showed up exactly on the time and worked professionally through out the whole day. In case of complications, they notified me and ask on how to proceed. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with them and would definitely hire them back in the future.

Had 2 limbs break in our fir tree in recent wind. They were large and hanging over roof. Called Jacob and he came right over and took care of it. We have used their service in the past and have always been pleased with the work.
